City of Manassas has been named a 2015 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of the City’s commitment to effective urban forest management. To celebrate this accomplishment and in honor of Arbor Day, on April 22 at 10 a.m. the public is invited to attend a program at Nelson Park at 8915 Grant Ave., Manassas.
Henry’s Farm Inc. of Woodford, Va. is recalling all packages of soybean sprouts because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections to individuals with weakened immune systems.

On March 19, Prince William County VA Police Department detectives from the Homicide Unit made two arrests and identified a third suspect involved in the shooting death of an adult male which occurred in the 7900 block of Blue Gray Cir in Manassas on March 18.
