On May 11, 2020 at 12:40PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 15100 block of Haymarket Landings Dr. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary.

A Manassas man, 37, is being held without bond after he was charged May 11, 2020 with attempted malicious wounding, possession of a sawed-off shot gun, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and domestic assault and battery.

On Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 12:57AM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 2400 block of Port Potomac Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. Responding officers located the victim, a 23-year-old woman, inside of the residence with a significant facial injury.

On Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 3:38AM, officers responded to the Rolling Brook Apartments located in the 1700 block of River Bend Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic.

The victim reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached from behind by an unknown man wearing a mask. When the victim turned around, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded her purse.

On Friday, April 24, 2020 at 4:10PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the area of Lee Highway and Interstate 66 in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a two-vehicle crash.

On March 28 at 6:14PM, officers responded to the area of Dale Blvd. and I-95 in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic occurring in a vehicle.

Haymarket Regional Food Pantry reports it will be open for food distribution on a drive-thru basis through Saturday, April 4, and then will close temporarily.

On March 18, 2020 at 4:30PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate a destruction of property call that was reported to have occurred at the Riverside Station Apartments located in the 14000 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge VA (22191) during the evening hours of March 17.

On March 19 at 3:16AM, Prince William County officers responded to the Country Inn and Suites located at 2621 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge, VA (22192) to investigate a shots fired call.

The City of Manassas Declaration is effective as of 12 p.m. on March 17, 2020. This will allow the City to prioritize resources, seek intergovernmental resources, handle procurement issues, coordinate an effective response and work to help City residents respond to this pandemic emergency, according to Patty Prince, communications manager for the city.
