PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.

Police ask public’s help in locating missing person

Prince William County Police have posted a lookout for a missing person who may be in the area of Novant UVA PW Hospital in Manassas: Leroy Jesse SPRUILL is described as an black male, 77 years of age, 5'08”, 135lbs with grey hair and brown eyes. Mr. Spruill was last seen wearing a black hat with the presidential seal on it, a beige, blue or black jacket, and glasses.

The SCC staff report issued June 2 noted [pages 17-21] that the potential customer may have to pay the excess cost, estimated at $115 million, between constructing an overhead route down I-66 and placing the project underground as the local legislative delegation and overwhelming numbers of the public requested, according to a news release from Del. Fatal crash involving dump truck and sedan at US 29 and Lake Manassas Drive

Southbound Lee Hwy and Lake Manassas Dr in Gainesville, VA are expected to be closed for an extended period of time due to a fatal crash between a dump truck and a sedan. Northbound Lee Hwy is expected to reopen as soon as the roadway is cleared, according to Prince William County Police. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes, police said.
