Manassas Mayor Harry J. Parrish and City Council have agreed to terms to purchase 3.65 acres of land and the structure on it known as Annaburg Manor from the Prince William Hospital Corporation for $846,000.

Three community conversations are scheduled to share thoughts, ideas, and suggestions with the Planning Office and other County agencies.

Volunteers are needed to help advise on school boundaries. Wanted are local community members and/or parents or legal guardians of students who attend Antietam, Bel Air, Belmont, Featherstone, Kerrydale, Kilby, Lake Ridge, Leesylvania, Marshall, Marumsco Hills, Minnieville, Occoquan, Old Bridge, Penn, Potomac View, Rockledge, Springwoods, Vaughan, or Westridge Elementary Schools.

During the extensive investigation, Prince William County Police Department detectives from the Special Victims Bureau and Violent Crimes Bureau were able to identify the suspect involved in the abduction of a girl on her way to school that occurred in the 14200 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge in the morning hours of Oct. 9.

Supervisor Jeanine Lawson announced that her annual land use town hall meeting will be held Thursday, October 18 in the Marsteller Middle School Cafeteria starting at 7 p.m.

On July 7 at 10:59PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Old Bridge Rd and Rolling Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a crash. The investigation revealed that a driver of a 1993 Toyota Standard was traveling westbound on Old Bridge Rd and attempted to make a left turn onto Rolling Brook Dr., according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok.

At 8:14AM, officers responded to the 14200 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an abduction. The investigation revealed that the victim, a juvenile girl, was reportedly walking to school along Essex Dr near Radford Dr when an unknown man approached and grabbed her.
