“Operation Broken Heart”, a month-long, collaborative effort that involves local, state, and federal authorities targeting sexual predators and traffickers, began on April 1st, 2015. The same day, Manassas City Police arrested Donald E. Campbell, Jr. of 3979 Cameron St, Dumfries, VA 22026.

The historical authenticity of Virginia continues to draw film production to the state. The feature film Josephine will be filming in Halifax County this spring, helmed by Academy of Country Music award-winner Rory Feek. Josephine is a Civil War drama about a woman who enlists in the confederate army as a man in order to find her missing husband…and is based on actual letters and events.
VDOT is not actively working on the Bi-County Parkway including pursuing the Programmatic Agreement or the environmental approvals from the Federal Highway Administration.’ In effect, this letter presents a significant roadblock to this project that sought to close Rt. 234 and traffic calm Rt. 29 through the Manassas National Battlefield Park, which would have affected hundreds of homeowners and businesses including the historic Sudley Methodist Church, according to Del. Tim Hugo, one of the projects major opponents.

State Corporation Commission (SCC) has revised the rules governing long-term care insurance. Effective September 1, 2015, the rule revisions strive to protect consumers and place heightened scrutiny on long-term care insurers seeking to raise premium rates.
