PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

Students in grades 3–8 who win the grade-level competitions at their individual schools may enter the tournament. Trophies are awarded to the winners at each grade level. This competition is organized by the PWCS Office of Student Learning - Mathematics.

The Virginia Department of Transportation asks drivers to be alert to possible icy conditions this weekend. An early-spring rain and snow coupled with low temperatures, particularly early Sunday morning, could impact roads.

On March 18th at approximately 10:00PM, officers responded to the 11200 block of Golden Leaf Circle in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting, according to a report from Officer Steven Mattos Jr., spokesman for Prince William County Police Department.

Spring may be just around the corner, but the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reminds drivers to watch out for possible icy areas on roadways. Precipitation and low temperatures are expected this weekend.

Death Investigation – On March 16 at 2:42AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14600 block of Ponderosa Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to assist the Department of Fire and Rescue with a townhouse fire. Due to the unsafe structural conditions of the home, fire crews were unable to conduct an interior search of the residence for any occupants.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed a fully involved vehicle in the driveway with fire extending into the garage and minor smoke damage to the master bedroom located above the garage.
