PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

Prince William County Police Department Detectives from the Homicide Unit have identified the victim in the ongoing homicide investigation which occurred at Bayvue Apartments on Bayside Ave in Woodbridge on October 8. A possible description of two suspects was also developed and the public's help is being asked to help police locate them.

A little bit of history came to life for Cadet Brooke Edwards of Bristow, as she collected donations for the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. The Sept. 17 effort raised $4,933.13 for the memorial site.

Dominion Virginia Power says it has more than 2,300 people working to restore power and that number will increase as it brings back 500 additional line workers onto the Dominion system from contractors returning from Florida.

Drivers can expect nighttime lane closures on I-66 next week at US 15, weather permitting, for crews to install overhangs on girders for the new southbound US 15 overpass, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

On October 8 at 5:56PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge for a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshots to the body in front of one of the apartment buildings. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

On October 6 at 3:30PM, officers responded to the United Bank located at 17054 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an armed bank robbery.
