Roadside mowing will be ongoing for about the next 4-5 months and the Virginia Department of Transportation asks the motoring public to please drive slowly and be especially alert in areas where the mowing crews are at work. Free national park passes for military families

Residents of the city of Manassas VA have reported larcenies from vehicles in 106 calls for service from the City of Manassas Police Department between Dec. 1, 2011 and May 14, 2012, according to a report from the city's crime prevention analyst.
