On April 29, 2024, the remaining suspect, identified as Patrick DIAZ PINA, who was sought in connection to the assault that was reported on June 12, 2023, was arrested in Fairfax County.
At about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, the National Park Service will reopen one northbound lane of the George Washington Memorial Parkway from Virginia Route 123, Chain Bridge Road, to I-495, the Capital Beltway. Drivers should expect delays and watch for workers in the road.
UPDATE: May 13, 11:35 a.m. — Due to continued rain, the National Park Service now hopes to reopen one lane in time for the evening rush hour on Tuesday, May 14. If this schedule changes, we will share an update.

On May 6, the Grand Jury for Prince William County returned multiple indictments against the man previously arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 25-year-old Woodbridge man, identified as Daniel James GILLIAM, that occurred on March 3.
