PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Prince William County Public Schools are the first in the nation to give teen-aged students, staff members, and families free access to a mobile app that is already helping college students avoid danger on college campuses nationwide, a news release said.
More than 12,000 students in grades K-12 will enroll in summer school to take advantage of a variety of educational opportunities to improve academic achievement.
George Liffert of Woodbridge a national park manager with 28 years’ experience and a former manager at Prince William Forest Park, has been tapped to lead Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, where he has been acting superintendent since June 2015. He will assume his role as superintendent immediately.
At 5:32 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2016 a Piper Malibu Aircraft, which can seat six people, was attempting to land on runway 34 right at the Manassas Regional Airport when it ran off the side of the runway.
Due to the severe weather, the buses are being held at two Prince William County schools: Rippon MS and Featherstone ES. Update will be provided.

On February 19, detectives from the Homicide Unit received a positive identification on the victim in connection to the murder investigation from January 13 after remains were located in a wooded area on Barrett Dr in Manassas. Following the investigation, three arrests, including two juveniles, were made on February 19.

Parents are invited to attend a presentation on the dangers of social media by the Prince William County Police Department in collaboration with Prince William County Schools Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Hylton High School auditorium.
