PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will host a brief 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony this week, on Thursday, September 11, to honor and remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Del. Richard L. Anderson (R-Prince William) and Sen. J. Chapman Petersen (D-Fairfax), co-chairs of the Virginia General Assembly “Benjamin Franklin Privacy Caucus,” have announced Sept. 23 Caucus hearings at the Virginia state capitol for citizens and organizations to express their views on legislation governing the use of License Plate Readers (LPRs) by law enforcement agencies in Virginia.

The City of Manassas has launched an intensive research and marketing initiative aimed to discover, define and design the area’s competitive differentiator so it can stand out in the marketplace.
The “Buy A Gift Brick” campaign is underway for the Montclair and Gainesville Community libraries as well as the Potomac Plaza Project at Potomac Community Library. The new libraries are scheduled to open in Fall of 2015.
Manassas Councilman Ian Lovejoy is launching a series of roundtables designed to give the business community an opportunity to share insights, ideas, success stories and concerns about the business climate in the City of Manassas and the broader Prince William County area. First roundtable is Sept. 10.
The community has an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs - anonmyously and no questions asked - on National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day September 27th at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center in Manassas.

September 2 was the start of exciting new chapters in more than 86,000 individual stories, as students walked through the doors of 94 Prince William County Public Schools. Their smiles, and more than a few cases of nerves, offered only a glimpse of what lies ahead.
Kick Start Your Health, a free event to fight diabetes will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams St. Manassas Park, VA 20111.
