Gov. Glenn Youngkin has ordered the flags of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Virginia be flown at half-staff April 16 in memory and respect for the 17th Anniversary of the Virginia Tech shooting which took the lives of 32 people.

Prince William County Police report that a suspect, identified as Jonathan Montile MIDDLETON, who police were seeking in connection with a March 23 fatal shooting that was reported to have occurred at Club Tempo, which is located at 17650 Possum Point Road in the Town of Dumfries (22026), turned himself into police without incident.

Stolen vehicle conks out on interstate; situation helps police nab suspect in dual murder

On Tuesday, April 2, 2024 Prince William County Police Department detectives charged a suspect allegedly involved in the killings of two women which were reported to have occurred at the Westgate Apartments and Townhomes located in the 8100 block of Porter Ridge Lane in Manassas (20109) earlier that day.

Prince William County Police report that police officers found the bodies of two adult women inside the residence by police during a welfare check, both appearing to have been shot. Both victims were pronounced dead on the scene. A person of interest has been detained in Shenandoah County, according to a police report.
