PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Prince William County Department of Public Works reports it will be closing the county’s Solid Waste facilities on Sundays beginning Nov. 6, 2022. Sunday is the only day of the week that commercial refuse haulers, which bring in most of the disposal tonnage, do not collect residential routes and bring the collected waste to the County Landfill and Balls Ford Road Compost Facility. Closing to the public on Sundays also will give facility employees the opportunity to address deferred work and perform required maintenance and regulatory requirements.
According to Red Cross representative Ashley Henyan, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration updated its blood donor eligibility guidance on vCJD, eliminating the deferral for those who spent time in the U.K., Ireland and France between 1980 and 2001.
Families, friends and members of the community are invited to see the Woodbridge High School Homecoming Parade starting at 4 p.m. on Friday. Oct. 21, starting at 4 p.m.
Stop by Macy's parking lot at Manassas Mall on Oct. 26 for PW Police Department's Trunk or Treat 5:30-8 p.m.
