As snow tapers off across northern Virginia and temperatures hover at or below freezing, the Virginia Department of Transportation asks drivers to be aware of potential icy conditions overnight and through Thursday.

Manassas Park City Schools are closed Thursday, March 22nd. Preschool, extended care, and MP3 will also be closed on Thursday. The Community Center is currently scheduled to open on time.

All Prince William County Schools will be closed Thursday, March 22, due to weather-related conditions and predicted refreezing. Code Red for employees.

Roads remain slick and hazardous as snow bands move through northern Virginia today, Wednesday, March 21. Virginia Department of Transportation asks drivers to continue to avoid driving for safety during the height of today’s winter storm, according to VDOT's noon update received in the Observer office at 12:23 p.m.

Due to inclement weather, Manassas Park City Offices are closed today, March 21, 2018. The Manassas Park Community Center is also closed. Manassas Park City Schools are also closed Wednesday, March 21st, so following city policies, preschool, extended care, and MP3 at the community center will also be closed on Wednesday.
