PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

On March 28, 2020 at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9500 block of Coggs Bill Drive for a report of a larceny and an assault. The victim was a pizza delivery employee.

Prince William Fire & Rescue reports that a Woodbridge man was attacked April 5, 2020 with a flaming log, which knocked the victim into a fire, causing burns to his face, neck, shoulder, back, and forearms. A suspect was charged with malicious wounding by fire and is being held without bond.

Today, April 6, Virginia Congressman Rob Wittman, who represents part of Prince William County, and Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH-6), spurred by the Coronavirus Pandemic across America, introduced legislation to create a five-year pilot grant program to expand reliable broadband access to some 19 million rural Americans who are unable to connect to this service.

On April 1, detectives with the Robbery Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery that occurred at the Wawa at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 14. A second suspect is still being sought.

On April 1, the suspect sought in connection with the attempted malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred in the 12800 block of Evansport Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning, was arrested.

On April 1, the suspect sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 12800 block of Island House Lp. in Woodbridge (22193) on March 31, was arrested.

On April 1 at 12:16AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Evansport Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

The Virginia Department of Corrections late March 31 received its first positive COVID-19 test results for incarcerated offenders. Three offenders at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women in Goochland, Virginia tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
