PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

When the heavens open on the small river town of Occoquan, the streets flood and a candle shop is swept away. In the debris of the destructive deluge a dead man is found, crudely mutilated.

The Police Department is requesting anyone in the Magnolia Court neighborhood in Manassas who was surveillance footage capturing the time frame between 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on December 27, 2021 to contact city police.

A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation revealed that the caller was on her balcony when she observed an unknown man appearing to check vehicle door handles in the parking lot.

Loss prevention staff reported to police that two women were seen inside the store filling two shopping carts with merchandise.

Prince William County Police kept busy over Christmas holiday weekend.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, reported to police that while outside in the above area, he encountered three unknown men. During the encounter, one of the suspects struck the victim with a rock. The victim then fell to the ground and momentarily lost consciousness.

On Dec. 21, 2021 investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit were notified of the identity of the driver who died as a result of the single-vehicle crash that occurred in the 12500 block of Purcell Rd. in Manassas (20112) on Dec. 15.

On Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 8:45AM, officers responded to investigate a destruction of property that was reported to have occurred in the area of Airman Ave. and Harry J. Parrish Blvd. in Manassas. The investigation revealed that at some point during the above timeframe gunshots were fired striking two portable toilets that were in the area.
