Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau are continuing to solicit information from anyone in attendance at the football game at Freedom High School at 15201 Neabsco Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22191) on the evening of Aug. 27. Police found two injured teens in the achool parking lot.

Prince William Fire and Rescue Crews arrived shortly after a 6:20 AM dispatch for a reported chemical spill in the 7500 block of Notes Drive, Manassas, with several employees reporting difficulty breathing, according to Matt Smolsky, Assistant Chief.

Matt Smolsky, Assistant Chief of Prince William County Fire & Rescue, reports that emergency units were dispatched at 1:27 p.m. and are standing by to assist two victims trapped on a mobile power lift into high-tension electrical lines. There were power outages in eastern Prince William.
Later, at 5:19 p.m., Smolsky reported that the two victims, identified as a man and a women, had been rescued, one at 4:43 p.m. Tuesday, and one at 5:01p.m. and were taken to Sentara Medical Center in Woodbridge.
At 11:09 p.m. Tuesday evening, Smolsky said The male victim of today’s incident has passed as a result of his injuries. The female victim reported no injuries but was transported for evaluation.
He added that the victim’s death is considered an "unattended death" and the Prince William Police Department will now be the lead agency.

Construction on the Puller Veterans Care Center at Vint Hill, close to Gainesville but located in neighboring Fauquier County, is proceeding on time and on budget, according to Steven J. Combs, Chief Deputy Commissioner for the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, who is overseeing the project, aided by two project managers, one of whom is on site every day.
