Loudoun County Health Department is informing people who were at Dulles International Airport on Friday, June 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Concourse A or B, in the International Arrivals Building or in the Baggage Claim level of the Main Terminal that they may have been exposed to a person with measles.

Prince William Health District (PWHD) is offering residents the opportunity to influence public health priorities and help shape strategies for improving the community’s health through three Town Hall meetings--this week and next. PWHD is collaborating with residents, public and private organizations, local experts and coalitions" to develop a Community Health Improvement Plan that aims to create a healthier place to live, learn, work and play," according to a news release.

VDOT maintenance crews are preparing to repair a failing portion of Kincheloe Road between Old Yates Ford Road and the Bull Run Marina Regional Park soccer fields. The road will be closed to through traffic/local traffic only for three days, between June 18th and June 20th, weather permitting.

On June 13, Fire and Rescue units from the City of Manassas responded to a call for service at a local urgent care facility. A 44-year-old male patient came to the facility around 2 p.m. seeking treatment for severe chest pain and needed to be transported to a hospital emergency room.

On June 12, 2013 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Lyle Foster, III was located by a family member along Wellington Rd near Dean Dr in Manassas. He had been missing since the morning of June 10. Foster is under medical evaluation as he recovers from non-life-threatening ailments.

Despite long-held plans to celebrate Patriot High School's first graduation on Thursday, in the high school's stadium on Kettle Run Road in Nokesville, the weather might demand other arrangements.
Principal Dr. Michael E. Bishop said the graduation organizers have crafted a “Plan B” and are even formulating “Plan C” to cope with whatever the weather will bring. And I know Patriot families can handle the change and celebrate in style.
