NOVEC is working to restore power to customers

NOVEC, contract, and out-of-state crews worked through the night to restore power to more than 20,000 customers since December 9, when ice-ladened trees and branches fell on power lines. Crews worked through the night. At 10:30 a.m. on December 10, approximately 1,600 customers were without power.

Free motorcycle safety course April 20 at NVCC-Manassas, approved by Va. State Police
Warmer weather traditionally leads to an increase of motorists of all kinds on Virginia roads, especially motorcycles. With that increased traffic comes the increased likelihood of motorcycle and vehicle interactions. Virginia State Police is once again offering its “Ride 2 Save Lives” motorcycle self-assessment courses across the Commonwealth in hopes of making those interactions as safe as possible.
