Ask the Experts tonight at “Community Conversation on School Safety” at Colgan High School

A "Community Conversation on School Safety" will be hosted by Supervisor Marty Nohe on Monday, March 12, at Colgan High School auditorium. The school is located just off VA 234 at Independent Hill and the Prince William County Landfill. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The forum begins at 7 p.m. Eight experts will speak and take questions.

Passenger, under 18, died from injuries sustained in a car crash around 3 a.m. this morning

On Sunday, March 11 at 3:07AM, investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Potomac Shores Pkwy and Cherry Hill Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a single vehicle crash. A front seat passenger, identified as a juvenile male, was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

Nearly 1000 lunches served when wind cuts power to Featherstone Elem.

The Featherstone Elementary School staff, along with the members of the Xi Alpha Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., provided close to 1,000 lunches for members of the school community who lost power due to last week’s wind storm.
