An autopsy conducted on March 6 confirmed that the injuries sustained by the pedestrian were from being struck by a vehicle. The striking vehicle was possibly a light colored, Ford pickup truck.

PWC Police investigate shooting in Woodbridge early March 3; victim dies at local hospital

On March 3 at 12:39AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the area of Rippon Blvd. and Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that while in a nearby parking lot the victim and the suspect were engaged in an argument that escalated. During the encounter, a firearm was brandished and the victim was shot. The suspect fled the area on foot while uninvolved residents aided the victim.

Snow and freezing rain will impact roads in Northern Virginia today, March 3
