The location for the Prince William County Planning Commission meetings scheduled for Aug. 25 and Sept. 1, 2021 have been moved from the board chambers at McCoart Center to the Ferlazzo Building, and neither remote nor virtual Public Comment will be available, "due to off-site limitations."

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit have identified a third man in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on June 17.

The caller reported to police that an unknown man was found unresponsive behind a business off US 1 in Woodbridge. Rescue personnel responded to the location where the man was pronounced deceased. The man’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination and autopsy.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 5:57PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13400 block of Pomander Lp. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers observed a front window that appeared to have been tampered with.
