Prince William County Police Reports for March 22, 2022

On Monday, March 21, 2022 the human remains located in the 7400 block of Wellington Rd. in Manassas (20109) on March 20, 2022 were preliminarily identified as a 54-year-old man of Manassas, according to a report from Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer. The identity of the deceased is pending official confirmation through further scientific analysis by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

John “Til” Hazel Jr., who lived on a farm in nearby Fauquier County and was "a major force behind the development of Tysons Corner and several planned communities in Fairfax County in the late 20th century," according to Virginia Business, died March 16, 2022. He was 91.
