September 5 at 2:06AM, officers responded to the area of Brockenbrough Dr. near McDowell Ct. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shots fired call. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile, suffering from a gunshot injury. Officers rendered aid to the victim before he was transported to an area hospital with significant injuries.

On September 6 at 3:52PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2200 block of Henry Watts Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 44-year-old woman, reported to police that she was inside the residence when an acquaintance, identified as the accused, followed her into a room where he prevented her from leaving. During the encounter, the accused attempted to rape the victim.

On September 5 at 8:42PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15300 block of Elizabeth Burbage Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. The altercation escalated when the accused retrieved a machete and confronted the child’s mother and her family.

On September 1 at 3:33PM, officers responded to the area of Bull Run Rd and Yorkshire Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a carjacking.

County police respond to gunfire and alarm activation in Dumfries

The victim, a 53-year-old man, reported to police that he was delivering pizza in the above area when he was approached by three unknown individuals. The victim identified one of the suspects as the person who made the order and agreed to follow them to the correct address. The suspects stopped on the walking path between apartment buildings and took the pizza order from the victim before pushing him on the ground.

On August 21 at 6:17PM, officers responded to investigate a threatening message that was reported to have occurred at the Jewish Temple of Congregation Ner Shalom located at 14010 Spriggs Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that evening.
