Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau have identified the suspect sought in connection with the shooting that occurred at the La Isla (Islita) Restaurant located at 8699 Parkland St. in Manassas (20111) on January 23, 2022.

On February 2 at 10:49PM, officers responded to investigate a potential threat of violence made towards Rippon Middle School located at 15101 Blackburn Rd. in Woodbridge (22191), earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that an unknown individual, later identified as the accused, posted threats of potential violence towards the school on a social media platform.

A Dale City man sustained life-threatening injuries in a house fire earlier today, Tuesday, Feb. 1, according to Matt Smolsky, Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal of Prince William Fire and Rescue. The victim was transported to a regional burn unit via helicopter, Smolsky said.
