Woodbridge teen charged with four counts of attempted murder in house fire

On July 27th at 4:33AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13700 block of Marbury Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to assist the Department of Fire and Rescue with an active fire. While investigating, detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau and investigators from the Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the incident was arson. Four occupants were able to get out of the home without significant injury.

Third suspect arrested in June 20 robbery in Dumfries

On July 14th, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force located and arrested the third suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 17000 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries on June 20th. The accused was located at a residence in the 16200 block of Sheffield Dr in Dumfries and was arrested without incident, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, spokesman for Prince William County Police Department.

Man drowns in Lake Montclair

On July 15th at 1:33AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4300 block of Spillway Ln Dumfries (22025) to investigate a missing person, according to a report from Officer Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.
