Man drowns in Lake Montclair

**INCIDENTS**

Drowning | Missing Person – On July 15th at 1:33AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4300 block of Spillway Ln Dumfries (22025) to investigate a missing person, according to a report from Officer Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.

The caller reported to police that Scott Sentz left in his vehicle from a family member’s home located in the above area around 11:00PM on July 14th. When Mr. Sentz did not return home, his family contacted police.

During a search of the area, officers located Mr. Sentz’s vehicle in the parking lot of nearby Dolphin Beach Park. A police K-9 and the Fairfax County Police helicopter were used to search for Mr. Sentz who was eventually located unresponsive in Lake Montclair.

An autopsy revealed that Mr. Sentz had drowned and that there were no signs of foul play.

The deceased was identified as Scott Carl SENTZ, 45, of Triangle
