The investigation revealed the driver of a Toyota Rav 4 was traveling northbound on Westridge Dr. when the child, an 8-year-old boy, walked into the roadway and was struck. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The child was transported to an area hospital where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.

Prince William Police ask community for assistance in investigation of April 29 crash on Old Bridge Road

On Monday, May 22, 2023 at 3:28 PM,Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Bank of America located at 7701 Donegan Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. No weapon was seen, police said.

On May 17, 2023, following the investigation, detectives obtained juvenile petitions for the suspect due to his age at the time of the offenses. The accused was served on the charges when he appeared in court on May 18, 2023 regarding an unrelated matter.

On May 17, 2023 the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Manassas conducted autopsies on the three deceased family members located in a residence in the 5100 block of Cannon Bluff Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) on May 16. The father was able to contact police before being transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. The son was also transported to an area hospital and later died while the mother was pronounced dead on scene.

On May 15, 2023 Prince William County Police Department detectives concluded the investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 1400 block of California St. in Woodbridge (22191) sometime between Jan, 2-5, 2023.
