Homicide Investigation- On May 4th at 8:49PM, officers responded to the 14000 block of Darbydale Ave to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that the victim had been transported from the scene to a nearby shopping center, according to Off. Steven Mattos Jr., spokesman for Prince William County Police Department.

On May 3rd at 1:03AM, officers responded to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located the victim, an adult male, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Manassas police are seeking information about an April 28 incident that occurred around 2:15 p.m. in the 9700 block of Main Street when a girl, 9, was approached outside her apartment building by a white male in his 20s. After a brief exchange, the male left in a van, police said.

Homicide Investigation – On April 29 at 10:56AM, officers responded to the area of Cotton Mill Dr and Griffith Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a found body. Officers arrived in the area and located the body of an adult woman presumed to be Lizeth Yadira Lopez, 36, who was reported as missing and endangered on April 19.
