On September 13 at 11:00PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 15500 block of Laurel Ridge Rd in Dumfries (22025).

Manassas City Police, collaboratiing with task forces from Northern Virginia, Prince William County-Manassas-Manassas Park, US Marshals Service and US Secret Service apprehended David Mendoza, 18, without incident on Shady Grove Circle, in Manassas, around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016. Ten charges were placed against the suspect.
