On November 26, detectives from the Prince William County Police Homicide Unit identified and arrested the suspect involved in the murder of an adult man, later identified as Samuel Enrique Godoy-Figueroa, which occurred in the 8000 block of Stream Walk Ln in Manassas on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24.

On November 25, 2016 at approximately 1 a.m. Manassas City police officers responded to the 9200 block of Byrd Drive for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located a male suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
