Manassas National Battlefield Park is preparing for a prescribed fire today, Nov. 18 through Nov. Friday, 22 on about 75 acres near the Brawner Farm (north of US-29 between Pageland and Featherbed Lanes). This window could be extended depending upon weather conditions, according to the National Park Service.

On November 18 at 1:05AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 1400 block of Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an unresponsive man outside in the parking area who had been shot.

On November 13 at 1:39PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3900 block of Findley Road in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary.

The second suspect sought in connection to the attempted strong-arm robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) on October 29, was arrested.

During the course of the investigation of an Oct. 21 homicide in the 1900 block of Briar Rose Lane, Lake Ridge, Prince William County police homicide detectives identified two suspects. They were arrested Nov. 13.

On November 9 at 6:17PM, officers responded to the Rolling Brook apartments located in the 1900 block of Briar Rose Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a stabbing.

On November 2 at 10:10PM, officers responded to the Target located at 9900 Sowder Village Sq in Manassas (20109) to investigate an indecent exposure.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, at 8:46AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the La Neveria Michoacana ice cream shop located at 7250 Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery.
