Murder Investigation *ARREST – Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit, on Aug. 14, 2020, arrested the suspect involved in the murder of Micah Antonio MUTZ which occurred near Valleywood Dr. and Colebrook Ln. in Woodbridge on July 14, 2020.

Police collect shell casings and comb area for clues in two weekend incidents involving reckless handling of firearms in Woodbridge.

The manager reported to police that between 1:30AM and 2:45AM, two unknown men were seen on surveillance cutting an exterior fence and going onto the property.

Prince William County Police report that Jacob Samuel CORUM who was sought in connection to the strangulation that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 8300 block of Sunset Dr. in Manassas (20109) on May 31, was arrested on June 8, 2020 after he turned himself in to police without incident.

Police investigate shooting in Triangle, armed robbery in Dumfries and burglary in Lake Ridge.

On Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 8:34AM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 17500 area of Cajun Ct. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate an attempted burglary.

On Monday, May 25, 2020 at 10:52PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 2600 block of Glenriver Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Callers reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area.

On Saturday, May 23, 2020, a 49-year-old man, reported to police that he was robbed by a male acquaintance, identified as the accused, following a physical altercation. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim and damaged a vehicle. The accused then took the victim’s backpack before getting into a vehicle occupied by a female driver.
