Coles Supervisor Yesli Vega issued this statement: "Today (April 25, 2024) I was notified that graffiti including antisemitic symbols were found at Coles Elementary and Benton Middle School. I want to express my unwavering support for our Jewish community. In Prince William County, we firmly reject any form of hatred."

Manassas fire and rescue captain receives FO international professional designation

Capt. Matthew Fox from the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department has been conferred a designation that only 448 others have achieved worldwide. He has completed the process to become a Fire Officer or FO and was awarded the designation recently by the Commission on Professional Credentialing.

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
