Supervisor Lega denounces antisemitic symbols and graffiti found on two PWC schools

Coles Supervisor Yesli Vega issued this statement: "Today (April 25, 2024) I was notified that graffiti including antisemitic symbols were found at Coles Elementary and Benton Middle School. I want to express my unwavering support for our Jewish community. In Prince William County, we firmly reject any form of hatred."

PWC dogs need to be wearing a dog license by Feb. 1

Any dog not wearing a 2020 license tag by Feb. 1 will be in violation of Prince William County Code and owners will be subject to a fine. The license fee is $10 per dog. To obtain a license, owners must present a valid rabies certificate for each dog.

PWC trains volunteers to help in getting out word about the 2020 census

People who volunteered have been trained to go out to scheduled community events, festivals, block parties, and other places that people might gather, to pass out Census fliers, educate people about the Census and answer questions.
