I-95 ramps in Fairfax to be closed for nighttime asphalt patching Oct. 18-20

Closures will occur along the ramp from northbound I-95 to Route 1 (Exit 161) and the ramp from southbound I-95 to Backlick Road (Exit 167) in Fairfax County between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. nightly Tuesday, Oct. 18 through Thursday, Oct. 20 for asphalt patching, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Del. Marshall alleges voting misinformation given to election officials at training session

In an Oct. 14 letter to Department of Elections Commissioner, Edgardo Cortes, Prince William County Delegate Robert G. “Bob” Marshall objected to what he said was "misinformation that was given to volunteers who attended a recent training for election officials for the 2016 elections with regard to verification of voter ID."

I-66 to be closed at night in Haymarket Oct. 10-14

More nighttime paving Oct. 3-7 of Featherstone Rd. & Blackburn Rd. in Woodbridge

Lane closures for milling and paving will continue nightly on portions of Featherstone Road and Blackburn Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 through Thursday, Oct. 6, and from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
