Lawson to be sworn in as Brentsville supervisor on Dec. 31

Jeanine Lawson, Brentsville District Supervisor-elect, will be sworn into office at 2 p.m. this Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014. The swearing-in ceremony is open to the public and will be held in the atrium of the James J. McCoart Administration Building at 1 County Complex Ct., just off PW Parkway, in Prince William, VA.

County police arrest suspect in string of armed robberies involving cab drivers in Manassas

On December 17th, detectives from the Robbery identified a possible suspect involved in a series of armed robberies involving taxi cab drivers which have occurred in the Manassas area of Prince William County since December 9th.

Manassas police seek suspect in Monday morning robbery

At approximately 9:20AM on Dec. 8, 2014, Police responded to the area of Portner Ave and Sudley Rd for a report of an attempted robbery that had just occurred. The victim, a 46-year-old female, told officers she was walking along Portner Ave towards Sudley Rd when an unknown male approached her from a back alleyway of Manassas Shopping Center.
