On Friday, July 21, 2023 the juvenile suspect sought in connection to the murder of an 18-year-old man that occurred in the 14100 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on Tuesday, July 18, was arrested.

The investigation revealed the victim, identified as an 18-year-old man, and a juvenile acquaintance were in the above area when the victim was shot in the upper body. After the shooting, the acquaintance contacted police to report his friend had been shot before disconnecting and leaving the area. Officers initially responded and checked the area but were unable to locate the involved parties or a crime scene.

This is known as a STARS study. Within the study limits, Dale Boulevard averages about 42,000 vehicles a day and Rippon Boulevard averages about 12,000. Masked duo attempts to snatch boy, 10, from Woodbridge bus stop

The victim, a 10-year-old boy, was walking to the bus stop when a masked man approached him from a dark-colored vehicle. During the encounter, the man grabbed the boy without provocation, according to police.
