An Aug. 27 town hall meeting at Lake Ridge Baptist Church in Woodbridge being organized by Prince William Del. Richard Anderson will focus on what Virginia is doing to mitigate the effects of sequestration. Meeting will include Virginia Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security.

Suspect charged in Feb. 26 robbery of Woodbridge bank

A suspect arrested in connection with a North Carolina bank robbery has also been charged in connection with the Feb. 23 robbery of the Burke & Herbert branch bank on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. The suspect will be extradited to Prince William County VA.

Five juveniles in custody after stolen vehicle crashes into occupied house

There were four occupants inside a Woodbridge residence when a stolen vehicle crashed into the home, this morning, Feb. 19. Responding officers removed the residents from the home. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was called to assist with the displaced family.
