INCIDENT REPORTS
Crash – Fatality

On Sept. 24 at 8:09 a.m., police responded to the area of Balls Ford Road and Notes Drive in Manassas for a crash. The investigation revealed that the driver and only occupant of a 2004 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on Balls Ford Road approaching Notes Drive when the driver veered off the roadway and struck a 2012 International Prostar tractor trailer from behind as it was parked on the shoulder of the roadway. The driver of the Nissan Sentra appeared to have suffered from a medical emergency prior to the crash. The driver was flown to an area hospital as a result of serious injuries sustained during the crash. The driver and only occupant of the tractor trailer was not injured. On Oct. 1, the driver of the Nissan Sentra succumbed to her injuries sustained during the crash. Identified: The driver of the 2004 Nissan Sentra has been identified as Sharon Renee Pittman, 61, of Fredericksburg. The driver of the tractor trailer has been identified as a 58-year-old man of Marion, Va.

Assault by Mob
On Oct. 2 at 2:37 a.m., police responded to the 17300 block of Dumfries Road in Dumfries for an assault. Caller reported to police the victim, a 20-year-old man of Dale City, was being assaulted in a parking lot in the above area. The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. No descriptions of the assailants could be provided to police.

Strong Armed Robbery
On Oct. 1 at 2:40 a.m., police responded to the Fonda Azteca Restaurant at 14425 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 24 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and some of his friends were involved in an altercation with another group of unknown men, which continued into the parking lot of the establishment. During the encounter, one of the men hit the victim with a tire iron and removed the victim’s wallet and cell phone before fleeing the area. Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: The assailant was described as a white male, between 22 and 23, 5’09” 160 lbs., medium build, black hair. Last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding

On Sept. 30 at 11:01 p.m., police responded to the 12700 block of Dulcinea Place in Woodbridge for a stabbing. The female victim, 43 of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and swung it at the victim striking her multiple times. Other occupants in the residence were able to stop the struggle and contact police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Stephan Marquis Dulaney, 23, of the 12700 block of Dulcinea Place in Woodbridge. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, held without bond.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary

On Oct. 2 at 12:36 p.m., police responded to the 15100 block of Cloverdale Road in Dale City for a burglary to a vacant residence. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 1 p.m. Sept. 18 and 7 p.m. Sept. 25. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window, which had been forced opened. Copper piping valued around $1,000 was reported missing from the shower area, water heater, washer and dryer causing significant water damage.

Burglary
On Oct. 2 at 12:54 a.m., police responded to the 16600 block of Georgetown Road in Woodbridge for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police he had arrived home and heard footsteps from an upstairs room. The homeowner left the residence and contacted police. Police located a basement window that had been broken out. No suspects were located inside the residence. A handgun, TV and cell phone valued around $1,000 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Oct. 1 at 5:16 p.m., police responded to the 13100 block of Kerrydale Road in Woodbridge for a burglary to a vacant residence. Property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2 and 6 p.m. on Sept. 28. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been pried opened. Copper piping and a drier valued around $700 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Oct. 1 at 2:20 p.m., police responded to the 7600 block of Northington Ct. in Gainesville for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sept. 24. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked front door. A watch and cell phone valued around $1,000 was reported missing.

Burglary
On Oct. 1 at 1 p.m., police responded to the 2000 block of Sequoia Ct in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 and noon Oct. 1. There were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked sliding glass door. A laptop valued around $800 was reported missing. 

Burglary
On Oct. 1 at 1:50 a.m., police responded to the 8300 block of Irongate Way in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 1 p.m. Oct. 1 and 1:45 a.m. Oct. 2. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. A gaming console, monitor and jewelry valued around $500 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Sept. 30 at 5 p.m., police responded to the 900 block of Freshes Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8:15 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked garage door. A handgun, gaming equipment and games valued around $700 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 30 at 2 p.m., police responded to the 8500 block of Cold Harbor Loop in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear basement window that had been broken out. A gaming console valued around $300 and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 29 at 12:57 p.m., police responded to the 13800 block of Londonderry Ct in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 p.m. on Sept. 28 and midnight Sept. 29. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured window. Jewelry, electronics, tools and other items valued around $20,000 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Sept. 20 at 1:46 p.m., police responded to the 15800 block of Beau Ridge Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 p.m. Sept. 21 and 7 p.m. Sept. 28. There were no signs of forced entry. Jewelry valued around $4,600 was reported missing.
