On Saturday, May 6, State Senator George Barker (D-39), representing parts of Prince William County, Fairfax County, and the City of Alexandria, will be hosting a town hall, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Prince William County Government Center, James J. McCoart Administration Building,1 County Complex Ct, Woodbridge, VA 22192.

On the evening of May 4 City of Manassas Fire & Rescue units were called to a two alarm fire in the 9300 block of Nash Drive in the Sumner Lake area of Manassas. Upon arrival, firefighters found the single family home fully engulfed in flames.

Virginia Department of Transportation is urging drivers to avoid southbound I-95 in Dale City May 12-15, as lanes will be closed for bridge deck repair. Congestion and delays are expected to be extensive.
