Prince William County Department of Transportation (PWCDOT) is conducting a traffic study through Facebook and Twitter to review feasible options to improve traffic flow and safety on the U.S. 29-U.S. 15 corridor, which would minimize impacts to the Buckland Historic area and surrounding historic, cultural, scenic and environmental areas.

College fairs Sept. 25 at Osbourn Park HS, Oct. 12 at Freedom HS

All seniors and juniors in high school and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend one of the college fairs scheduled this fall to explore post-graduation options. Representatives from various colleges, universities, technical schools, and the military will attend. The fairs are for students who attend Manassas, Manassas Park and Prince William County High Schools.

Latest test results reveal 94 percent of PWC schools are accredited

Student test results in English, math, history, and science earned fully accredited status for 85 of 90 (94 percent) of eligible Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS), according to a Sept.13 report from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). All PWCS high schools are fully accredited, and met the high school graduation requirement.
