On July 23 at 2:00PM, Prince William County Police officers were notified of suspicious graffiti on a sign at Lake Ridge Middle School at 12350 Mohican Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) that was discovered earlier that day. The investigation revealed that school personnel observed a sign near the tennis courts with words and images drawn on it to include a swastika symbol.
Homicide Investigation *REWARD OFFERED – The Prince William County Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in the murder of Charlie Davis III, according to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman.

Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) says it has been notified that several Virginia residents have received unsolicited packages containing seeds that appear to have originated from China. The types of seeds in the packages are unknown at this time and may be invasive plant species. The packages were sent by mail and may have Chinese writing on them.

Prince William County Police detectives with the Homicide Unit have identified the man killed during an early morning altercation July 24 at the Babylon Café located at 3081 Golansky Blvd in Woodbridge (22192) and are seeking details about what led to the altercation, according to First Sgt. Jonothan Perok, police department spokesman.

Prince William County Police officers have charged two people in two separate incidents in Manassas with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer (LEO). The suspects were also being sought in connection with active warrants, according to police reports.

International Gourmet Foods, Inc. will invest $15.6 million to establish a new headquarters in Woodbridge, which will bring 169 new jobs. The 130,000-square-foot development at 13405 Telegraph Road will also house the company's sales, warehouse and cold storage operations that serve Virginia and parts of North Carolina.
