On August 22 at 3:39PM, officers responded to the 12700 block of Aden Rd in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a found child. The investigation revealed that a 10-year-old boy knocked on the front door of the caller’s home and asked for food. The child appeared to be suffering from injuries to his body along with his clothes being dirty and in disrepair.

On August 19 at 2:50AM, officers responded to the 1300 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a carjacking. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 66-year-old man, responded to the area for a taxi fare when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the men brandished a firearm as they removed the victim from the taxicab. The suspects then struck the victim on the head with the firearm and demanded his property, according to PWC police.

On August 19 at 12:55PM, Prince William County police officers responded the area of Dale Blvd and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a hit & run crash. A responding officer was driving southbound in the area of Farm Creek Dr and observed the suspect vehicle driving northbound. The vehicle accelerated and drove into oncoming traffic, heads on towards the police officer, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman.
