March 10 fashion show to benefit Battlefield High School after graduation hoopla

Who’s ready for warmer weather?  Spring ‘18 will bring hot new trends for the season and here’s your opportunity to get a first look! 

The Battlefield High School PTO After Grad Committee will present its first annual bobCAT WALK Fashion Show on March 10 from 1:30-4 p.m.  The show will feature Battlefield students modeling the latest in prom attire and spring fashions, hairstyles, accessories and make-up.

Vendors including hair salons, florists, limousine companies, and tuxedo rentals will also be on hand with chances for attendees to win their products and services.

The show will take place at Battlefield High School, 15000 Graduation Dr in Haymarket, VA.  Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to the After Grad celebration, which is a drug- and alcohol-free event for the Battlefield graduates on the evening of their graduation.

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
