On Oct. 24, 2024 at 1:25AM, crash investigators with Prince William County Police responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy. near Minnieville Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a single vehicle crash. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling southbound on Prince William Pkwy. when the vehicle crossed over the grassy median and across the opposite travel lanes.

On October 21 2024 at 2:29 P.M. the Manassas City Police Department received a 911 call stating that a person had been shot in a residence located in the 9200 block of Brinkley Lane, Manassas, VA. Police immediately responded to the scene and located a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the police report.

A number of arrests made over weekend

Prince William County fire & rescue units were dispatched back to the scene of last week’s horrific house explosion in Haymarket's Piedmont subdivision today, Oct. 21, 2024, for a report of a barking dog in the debris.

The scene is still being studied to possibly identify the ignition source, according to Matt Smolsky, Fire Marshal. A representative of the State Division of Utility and Railroad Safety is also on the scene to investigate the incident.

Recent arrests are reported in connection with two September incidents and an October domestic complaint.

The single-family dwelling involved in Haymarket's Piedmont subdivision incident Oct. 15 was totally destroyed following a gas explosion late Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 15.
