Manassas City Police in conjunction with the Northern Virginia-District of Columbia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (NOVA/DC ICAC) concluded a two-year investigation into the trading of child pornography over the internet with the arrest of a Sterling man on federal charges.

Prince William County VA police identify driver in hit and run/fly-out. Due to several circumstances, driver won't be charged.

On November 5th at 6:43PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 8200 block of Rainwater Cir in Manassas (20111) to investigate a hit and run crash. The van struck the victim before fleeing the area. The victim was flown to an area hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.

At approximately 3:15PM on November 1, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 9500 block of Tapok Dr for a report of breaking and entering.

On October 28th, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit charged the driver of the 2005 Hyundai Tucson involved in the fatal crash reported in the 14500 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on August 15th.

Prince William County VA police say they are looking for a Hispanic male, between 25 & 35 years of age, 5’7”, 200lbs with a medium build in connection with a Halloween morning robbery at the Featherstone Rd, 7-11. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and mask.

Upon arrival, the Officer was connected with someone who had called the business claiming to be an employee of a local power company. City of Manassas Department of Public Works is the exclusive provider of most utilities (electricity, sewer, water, refuse service) within the City of Manassas.

Two people were charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer following an investigation by Prince William County police when police responded to a call on Oct. 27 at 3:52 a.m. in the Manassas area.
