PWC calls Loudoun and Fairfax Fire & Rescue to help put out house fire in Haymarket March 30

On Wednesday, March 30, at 2:37 p.m., fire and rescue crews were dispatched to a structure fire in a single family home in the 16300 block of Poplar Hill Road in Haymarket, according to a news release from Prince William County Dept. of Fire & Rescue. No injuries were reported. Preliminary damage appears to be a total loss, officials said.

ICE seeks public’s help in locating badge counterfeiter believed to be in Germany

ICE is looking for Roberto Craciunica, 34, a Romanian man believed to be residing in Germany. ICE says Craciunica was indicted in October 2015 in the Eastern District of Virginia for a variety of charges related to manufacturing and distributing counterfeit badges and that Interpol has issued a Red Notice for Craciunica’s arrest.

Unidentified human remains discovered in Powells Creek near US 1 in Woodbridge

On March 30 at 12:51PM, officers responded to investigate human remains located along the creek bed in Powells Creek near Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191), according to report from Officer Nathan Probus, police department spokesman.

One dead, others injured in food service rack system collapse in Manassas March 29

Death Investigation – On March 29 at 3:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Reinhart Food Services warehouse at 11777 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) to assist Department of Fire and Rescue with an interior structure collapse. Preliminary investigation revealed that an interior rack system used to store food product collapsed on several employees, said Sgt. Perok, police department spokesman.
