Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced that Berkley Insurance Company, a subsidiary of W. R. Berkley Corporation, will invest $6.1 million to expand its current location in Henrico County by assuming an additional 8,920 square feet of office space to accommodate growth in its Berkley Aspire, Berkley Mid-Atlantic Insurance Group, and Verus Specialty Insurance businesses.

Governor Glenn Youngkin and Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) announced today, Aug. 1, that Virginia’s tourism industry generated $83 million a day, for a total of $30.3 billion in visitor spending in 2022, an increase of 20.3 percent from 2021, exceeding 2019 levels by 4.4 percent.

"We see a need for transparency in the budget process and state agency meetings that seem to make decisions without regard to public input and offer no public scrutiny," the LWV said in a news release.
