Warner and Kaine introduce Military Retirement Restoration Act to repeal benefit cuts

US Senators from Virginia, Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, have introduced legislation they say will repeal and replace the Bipartisan Budget Act provisions that propose to cut military pensions for working-age military retirees by 1 percent beginning in January 2015.

NORAD exercise planned for Washington, D.C. area midnight-2 a.m. Tuesday

North American Aerospace Defense Command and its geographical component, the Continental United States NORAD Region (CONR), will conduct exercise Falcon Virgo 14-02 Monday night and into Tuesday morning in the Washington, D.C. area between midnight and 2 a.m. (EST).
